I am not catholic, but I know many people who follow the rules of this belief very carefully. I admire their dedication, and I think they are magnificent people because of it. There are a lot of things in life that are wonderful in abstract theory, but aren't so great in practice. Though a catholic wedding seems to cover what the creed means to those who attend, I've to say it is lacking a little bit. Though who follow this faith are acclimated to the length of the wedding-ceremony and the christian wedding songs, but for someone like me, this is some-thing of a shock. One of my dearest friends asked me to be in her catholicism-based wedding day, and I had no concept what I was getting in to when I agreed. I enjoyed the christian wedding songs, but it was lengthy!

The ceremony itself isn't bad, it's the duration of it. It seemed to me that everybody was traveling in stop motion, and that did not help. A catholic wedding day is a long affair, but that could not be the case if everyone would just go a bit quicker. You can get things done with-out appearing rushed if you put your mind to it, but it seemed that everybody who was involved in her catholicism-based wedding wanted to take their time, including the people who sang the christian wedding songs.

The duration of the wedding-ceremony was a little bit much for me, & the main reason was my choice of shoe. I had to have some-thing with a heel, but I had no idea that I would have to stand in them for an hour. By the time we were halfway done with the catholicism-based wedding day wedding-ceremony, I thought my toes were going to fall off. They hurt like crazy, and my dress wasn't long enough for me to slip them off for a little ease. I noticed many of the other girls in the wedding day were shifting around awkwardly, & when there were moments when we could sit, one could hear an audible sigh of relief from most of the wedding day party.

Over all, though, the catholic wedding was gorgeous, & I am glad that my friend and her brand-new husband had the wedding they wanted, & that everything went smoothly. My biggest problem was that I didn't know what to expect, & that are worthy of been some-thing that I asked as the planning were being made. She was quite aware that we might be uncomfortable, but she was so weary that she mentioned this to us much too late. That's okay though, I would do anything for her. I will think twice if some-one else asks me to be a part of a catholicism-based wedding day again though.
