I am often astounded to see the how grand and outlandish the clothing industry has become. For some reason it's difficult for me to grasp people and their complete love for clothes. Don't get me wrong! I like a decent pair of jeans as much anyone, but you won't catch me forking out hundreds of dollars for a pair of pants, or even for plus size coats, which can be pricey. When I asked my teenage daughter what discipline she wished to pursue, she began rambling on about fashion design and merchandising. Hmm, big surprise!
